Two Wheel Sunday | 2017
Did you join us down at Two Wheel Sunday this year?
It was a great turn out and the numbers are in! All together we raised $5350.00 for the Veterans Food Bank. Amazing! The motorcycle community is extremely generous, and we are excited to participate through the insurance industry. Being able to witness these acts every day, makes us extremely lucky.
These events take a lot of planning, backed with loads of support. Amazing motorcycle shops and groups helped to secure a location that is not only large enough but can accommodate thousands of motorcycles at any given time. Fast forward to today, there have been 3 years worth of events that we are lucky enough to be a part.
If you’ve never had the chance to experience a Two Wheel Sunday event, let us fill you in on what it’s all about.
Two Wheel Sunday is a really unique Calgary event, it’s like a trade show with a twist. The team had the idea of bringing all motorcycle groups, shops, riders and enthusiasts to one place at one time. Regardless of what you ride, or are hoping to ride, you’ll see so many varying models in one space. This event honestly has something for everyone. The best part is that all of the bikes on site are owned by fellow riders. They are always welcoming and open to chatting about their customizations, or adventures.
The event is also family friendly, so it’s a wonderful way to help introduce children to the world of riding. Interacting with motorcycles and meeting the riders behind the helmets immerses them in the culture. Most of all these positive introductions can help create future riders.
There are plenty of people in attendance including shops and dealerships, clubs and associations, along with charity groups like The Motorcycle Ride For Dad and The Veterans Food Bank. Come and share your love of motorcycles with like minded people, find a group that suits your style and enjoy what is always a great social gathering.
The event is not only extremely fun, and family friendly but more importantly, it raises money and awareness for some very great causes. To find out more information or how BlueCircle Insurance and Paul Featherstone got involved check out our Two Wheel Sunday Page, so you can join us all next year!
